I want to convert my DVD into a format that I can watch on my iPhone. How do I do this?

Is there any free software that will do this for me? And approximately how long will the whole process take?

How long it takes is dependent on how powerful your machine is. On my a 45 min tv episode takes about 30mins. I use dvddecrypter to rip the dvd and megui to convert to a format my phone will play. It has profiles for iphone and most other smartphones as well as ones for hd and avi formats.
