I have a GA-M68MT-S2P motherboard, Would this work for it? AMD Athlon X4 860k with AMD Quiet Cooler Quad-Core Socket FM2+ 95W AD860KXBJASBX Desktop Processor-Newegg.com

I am trying to upgrade from a 2 core processor to a 4-6 core and i can spend 50$ or more.

My specs right now.
Windows 10 64 bit
AMD Phenom II x2 550
GTX 1050
8 GB

Any of them will work and they are all 4 or 6 cores.

Thank you so much, <3. I am thinking on getting the 4 core but it has 2.8 ghz or the 6 core one with 3.4, What should you recommend me? More than 4 cores or more ghz?

I have the 1090T on my old desktop works well.

Should i get this one. Amazon.com: AMD CPU HDZ955FBGMBOX Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition 3.2GHz AM3 125W Retail: Electronics or this? Link Removed Does more ghz or cores make it go faster?

Well Hz isn't everything. More cores is typically better since it allows you to run more concurrent threads.
