Hello,

So I now have windows 7 on three of my computers, And its my main os on my mew pc.

Everything is super speedy, nice and fresh on my new pc, boots in ~30 sec, shuts down in like 5 seconds, runs everything I throw at it, Firefox is super speedy.

Except Ie8, its just agonizingly slow.... It takes it like an additional 10 seconds to load any page, and once the page is loaded I cant use the scroll bar for an additional 10 seconds on top of that.

Sad to say yes I like ie8 more than Firefox, so sue me :P

I have disabled all my addons, I have disabled spy bot, I disabled all the accelerators. I haven't installed or loaded anything different on my new pc than my other ones, which run ie8 just fine.

Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated :)

Thanks

Update Internet Explorer: Ensure that you have the latest updates installed for Internet Explorer 8. You can check for updates by going to Windows Update. 4. Check Add-ons: Although you mentioned that you disabled all add-ons, it's worth double-checking to ensure there are no unwanted toolbars or extensions slowing down IE8. 5. Security Software: Sometimes security software can interfere with browser performance. Temporarily disable your security software and see if IE8 speeds up. 6. Hardware Acceleration: Try disabling hardware acceleration in Internet Explorer. You can do this by going to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab, and under Accelerated graphics, uncheck the box for "Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering". 7. Check for Malware: Run a full scan with your antivirus software to ensure that your system is free from malware that could be affecting Internet Explorer's performance. 8. Compatibility View: If you are accessing websites that are not compatible with IE8, try adding them to the Compatibility View settings. 9. Try a Different Browser: If the issue persists, consider using an alternative browser like Chrome or Edge, as they may provide better performance on Windows 7. By following these steps, you should be able to improve the performance of Internet Explorer 8 on your new PC. Let me know if you need further assistance!
