Heya,

Dont ask me how, but I ended up installing Windows7 twice on the same partition. I now have two "Windows 7" options when my boot screen comes up. I obviously only ment to install it once so I want to get rid of the second Windows 7 option on the boot screen (and the bootscreen itself aswell actually).

How do I go about doing that?

thanks

I was wrong, it appears I somehow managed to install each installation on a different partition. I want to completely remove the installation on drive D, how do I go about doing that?

Go to Start > Run, and type dskmgmt.msc.

See what partition is marked as Boot, and System.

This partition you will not be able to delete.

If one partition is listed as Healthy, primary partition you should be able to delete that partition.

Make absolutely sure you know what partition to delete or your system will not boot.

If you can't delete from Windows itself, it can be done through command-line after booting to a command prompt
