Windows 7 Internet explorer 8 windows 7

Hello,
I have installed Windows 7 on my laptop it works great. But everytime I reboot windows 7 I have to reset default setting in Internet Explorer 8 to get it to show Web pages. When I reset the defaults it works fine till I reboot. Then I have to reset them again. Does anyone know how to fix the problem Thanks

Have you (carefully) run through the initial start options?
