Hey guys, wasn't sure if this was the right place to post.

So, I've been having this recurring issue when using my browser (Chrome). There will be times when the internet seems to just drop and it can't connect to anything. On other hand, I can use messengers, torrent, whatever else, so not sure what's going on.

Sometimes, it will blatantly say the internet appears to be offline. Other times, it will say I couldn't connect to the DNS server. I'm not really sure what all's happening here.

Solution
Looks like your connection is working fine; however, you are having DNS resolution problems. Open a command prompt and type the following and post the output
  • ipconfig /flushdns
  • nslookup
  • google.com
  • server 8.26.56.26
  • yahoo.com
  • exit
Download this script. When you are having the issue run the script and upload the log it creates on your desktop. Network Diagnostic Information

Here's the file, then. Thanks much.

I wonder if OP has a dongle plugged into to one of his ports (serial, parallel, or USB)? Never seen this before.

I believe that is the Kaspersky VPN adapter.
