Hmm.... are you running a Tool bar or Search bar on your browser? If so it could possibly come through that way I guess. Try this app at removing it too:

Possibly a variant of the 'Klez' virus:

Obviously try removing it with anti virus but I noticed the above link does contain a klez removal tool although it is some years old... Perhaps worth trying if all else fails?

Thanks, I've deleted the entire folder that had about 100 or so sub-folders with very small extension-less files within. The exe file itself had a dodgy looking icon, I'm wondering how it got in my computer. Strange how antivir and malwarebytes didn't recognize it as a threat. Also the websites above look useful.
