Greetings,
My system (Win 8.1 64bit) freezes at random times.
The first time this happened was on 10/3/2015 9:53:45 PM (from Event Viewer: Kernel-Power Error).
Here's how it goes:
- playing Dying Light, skyping (browser open, hamachi open etc.) <- twice in a row
- playing League of Legends, skyping, I shared my screen over skype to show something
- playing League of Legends, skyping (randomly at the end)
I also could induce it by just starting League of Legends and moving the camera. (was only for a short time)
Other things that I have found out (may also be coincidence):
- it only happened at evenings so far (probably after running the pc for a longer time)
- it only happened when the cpu was stressed out/multiple applications were running
Tomorrow when I start my PC I will try to induce it using skype screen sharing and running a game.
Screenshots of CPU-Z, Rammon and W7F-tool are attached to this post.
Edit #1: I just started a game of League of Legends and shared the screen and after ~3-5 seconds it froze.
Please help me solve this, it's very frustrating..

- I do stuff at my computer (it only froze when I did multiple things at a time, like playing a game, skyping and listening to music)
- My PC freezes and everything immediately stops (no audio continues to go on or something)
- After about 10 seconds my PC instantly shuts down
- After another 1 - 1.5 seconds it starts again automatically.

Hi,
usual causes for the pc freezing are overheating, driver issues and PSU issues. See what your temps are like whilst running using this app:
HWinfo64
HWiNFO, HWiNFO32/64 - Download
Run the Intel diagnostic chip test whilst watching the temps:
Link Removed
Open an admin command prompt and type:
sfc /scannow
Press enter and await results.
Please post make and model of your PSU.

Hey,
I was usually checking out my temperatures after the issue kept appearing and it was usually below 70°C.
During the test the temperature of Core #1 peaked at 70°C and towards the end it peaked at 71°C.
The other cores were always below #1.
I looked my PSU up by searching for what it says: "High Energy Power Supply FP-750W".
I found out that it's a 750 Watt Inter-Tech FP-750W.
I ran sfc /scannnow 4 times in the last ~5 days.
But I will run it again now.
Edit - sfc /scannow results:
Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.

How are your drivers? If possible update to the latest versions using google to help find the version you need. Try not to use an app to update the drivers as these often cause more issues than fix.
Please run a chkdsk:

Please ensure that both boxes are ticked to search for and repair broken sectors.
Run this app to test Vram:

I have two drivers that are not installed:
- PCI Serial Port
- PCI Simple Communications Controller
Both have the following warning:
"The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
There is no driver selected for the device information set or element.
To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver."
Windows doesn't find drivers via "Search automatically for updated driver software".
Also the "Video Memory stress Test" resulted in the following:
[10/9/2015 11:59:54 AM] Test started for "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 "...
Trying 16bpp RGB:565 mode...OK
Trying 16bpp RGB:555 mode...OK
Trying 16bpp BGR:565 mode...NOT SUPPORTED (Code: 80004001)
Trying 32bpp RGB:888 mode...OK
Trying 32bpp BGR:888 mode...NOT SUPPORTED (Code: 80004001)
[10/9/2015 12:21:44 PM] Pass completed (0 errors found).
I will run "chkdsk /F /R C:" now, reboot my system and then I'll report what happened.
Edit: My system rebooted and the error check was really quick and I didn't see any errors.

I downloaded Link Removed and installed it.Try installing the Intel Management Engine driver:

I also downloaded Link Removed and tried to install it via the SetupME.exe but this error appeared:
"The setup program ended prematurely because of the following error:
This platform is not supported."
I can attach the IntelME.log file if necessary.
The MEISetup.exe gives the same error.
I downloaded the .zip from here:

Checking under your driver supports seems like you don't need that install:

When I start my system up I can see something like "Intel(TM) ME Management" or something like that.

When I boot my pc up it shows the usual BIOS-stuff "Detecting IDE drives.." etc.
And I think the second part is something with Intel Management Engine.
I can enter using CTRL+P

Hmm... I've checked online about your chipset and I don't think there is a driver apart from the chipset inf you already installed. Your support page doesn't show any type of such driver so i have assume there isn't one.
One way to test this theory further is to run the Intel driver update utility:

It didn't freeze today until yet.
I even shared my screen with League of Legends opened for about 20 minutes and no freeze at all.
But the freezes usually occurred later in the day during evenings.
I'll report if any freezes occur.

I have disabeld my Avast antivirus recently because it was taking a lot of cpu.
Is it possible that Avast may have some influence on the system stability and cause freezes like these?

Yes although the only way to tell would be to enable it again. If the freezes return then you have the culprit. Is it possible that Avast may have some influence on the system stability and cause freezes like these?
