Kyndryl, a leading provider of mission-critical enterprise technology services, has announced the launch of the Kyndryl Microsoft Acceleration Hub, a collaborative initiative with Microsoft aimed at advancing artificial intelligence (AI) adoption and accelerating digital transformation for enterprise customers.
This Acceleration Hub leverages Kyndryl Consult services and Kyndryl Vital co-creation expertise to develop tailored agentic AI solutions using Microsoft Azure AI Foundry and Copilot across the Microsoft technology stack. The focus is on building industry-specific solutions that enhance efficiency and unlock new business value.
The Hub will utilize Kyndryl's global network of physical and virtual innovation labs, including the newly established AI Innovation Lab in Liverpool. These facilities will serve as collaborative environments for ideation, prototyping, and deployment of AI and digital solutions across various industries and regions.
Ismail Amla, Global Leader of Kyndryl Consult, emphasized the strength of the collaboration, stating, "We are confidently doubling down on our successful collaboration with Microsoft because we know that the combination of Kyndryl Consult expertise with Microsoft technologies is a powerful duo that will help customers reap the benefits of AI, drive innovation, and achieve meaningful business outcomes."
Stephen Boyle, Global Leader of SI & Advisory Partners at Microsoft, highlighted the shared commitment to AI advancement: "Kyndryl's Microsoft Acceleration Hub represents the next evolution of our strategic collaboration and a shared commitment to helping enterprise customers unlock the full potential of AI."
Kyndryl has made significant investments in workforce development to support this initiative, with over 16,000 employees earning more than 26,000 Microsoft certifications. This extensive training enhances Kyndryl's expertise across Microsoft technologies, including Azure cloud, data platforms, security, and modern workplace solutions, thereby strengthening the company's ability to deliver Microsoft-based services to enterprise clients.
The company is also integrating agentic AI into its global infrastructure services and delivery capabilities, enabling customers to fully leverage the Microsoft stack with autonomy, goal orientation, and informed decision-making.
Anders Bjørnrud, CTO of Care Safety Innovations, expressed enthusiasm about the Hub's potential: "As a customer, we are thrilled about the Kyndryl Microsoft Acceleration Hub's transformative potential and believe it can help streamline our adoption and application of AI and enable better services for our customers."
Kyndryl recently achieved the AI Platform on Microsoft Azure specialization and renewed its Azure Expert Managed Services Partner (MSP) designation, a status attained by less than 2% of Microsoft's partner ecosystem.
This initiative builds upon the longstanding strategic partnership between Kyndryl and Microsoft, which began in November 2021. The collaboration has consistently focused on enabling enterprise customers to adopt AI solutions and drive digital transformation.
In August 2023, Kyndryl and Microsoft announced a joint effort to accelerate the adoption of enterprise-grade generative AI solutions for businesses on the Microsoft Cloud. This collaboration leveraged Kyndryl's expertise in data and AI, along with Microsoft's technologies, to design and develop new generative AI innovations.
Further strengthening their partnership, in March 2025, Kyndryl collaborated with Microsoft to support the adoption and deployment of Microsoft Dragon Copilot, an AI-powered healthcare assistant. This solution utilizes voice dictation, ambient listening, and natural language capabilities powered by generative AI to automate clinical documentation and improve administrative efficiency, allowing clinicians to focus more on patient care.
The launch of the Kyndryl Microsoft Acceleration Hub signifies a deepening of the collaboration between Kyndryl and Microsoft, aiming to provide enterprise customers with innovative AI solutions and accelerate their digital transformation journeys.
