Windows 7 locked documents and settings

My name is kaschiro...my documents and settings are also called that....my doc and set file is locked!! how do I unlock that file

Do you mean the file won't open at all?

Windows 7 Take Ownership & Grant Permissions to Access Files & Folder

no...access is denied...and then there is a lock on the icon of the file

The files that were in Documents and Settings are now found in "Users". You'll have to show "Hidden files" and uncheck "Hide protected system files" in Folder options to see them though. There's no need to open Documents and Settings at all.

you guys are quick.....The file kaschiro still has the lock on the icon but now I can open it up....my hats off to you guys..you are much faster than the other forum, which I have to wait...
