Marian,

No. Go to Store. The FREE Upgrade to Windows 8.1 is in there not, via WU. If it doesn't show immediately upon going into Store, put Windows 8.1 in the Store's Search and it will show. 8.1 is an Upgrade not, an Update.

Cheers,
Drew
What is the make & model of the webcam?

Are you running Windows 8 or is it, actually, Windows 8.1?

Cheers,
Drew

I'm not techy person but this might able to answer your question.. I hope xD
Its just a generic webcam, CD-R King - F Series(1.3mp) and what i know it is a plug and play.
When I bought it no driver is included.

Marian,

Upgrade your machine to Windows 8.1 w/ all & any available Windows Updates then, we will talk about anything else including, the webcam issue.

Is this a laptop or Desktop? Sounds like a laptop w/ a built-in camera rather than a Desktop w/ an external webcam. If that is the case, what is the make & model of the laptop?

Cheers,
Drew
