Sony and Arc System Works have published the Windows requirements for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls ahead of its PC open beta, which begins July 24. The Steam listing sets Windows 11 and 16GB of RAM as the baseline, with hardware requirements that are reasonable for newer gaming PCs but leave older GPUs behind.

According to the game’s Steam page, the minimum configuration is:
  • Windows 11 64-bit
  • Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X
  • 16GB RAM
  • Nvidia GeForce “GTX 2060” 6GB or AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT 8GB
The recommended tier keeps the same OS and memory requirement but moves to an Intel Core i7-8700 or Ryzen 5 3600X, plus an Nvidia GeForce “GTX 3070” 8GB or Radeon RX 7600 XT 16GB.
There is an obvious naming issue in the Nvidia entries: Nvidia sold the RTX 2060 and RTX 3070, not GTX-branded versions of those cards. Steam currently uses “GTX” in both cases, so prospective players should treat the listed models as RTX 2060 and RTX 3070 equivalents unless Sony or Arc System Works corrects the store page.
The specifications do not state their target resolution, graphics preset, or performance threshold. That omission matters more in a competitive fighting game than it would in a slower single-player release: the Steam page promises 60fps gameplay during fights, but it does not say whether minimum hardware is expected to maintain that rate at 1080p or under what settings.

A Windows 11-only listing

Windows 11 is the only operating system listed for both tiers. That does not prove the game will refuse to launch on Windows 10, but it means Windows 10 users will be outside the publisher’s supported specification. The 16GB memory floor is also notable for a fighting game, although it is increasingly common in current PC releases.
On the GPU side, the RX 6600 XT minimum is considerably newer than the CPU recommendations might suggest. The recommended RTX 3070 or RX 7600 XT class points to a game with meaningful graphics overhead from Arc System Works’ stylized presentation, effects, and multi-character 4v4 matches rather than unusually demanding processor requirements.

Open beta details

Sony’s July 16 PlayStation Blog post says the open beta will run for 72 hours, from 12:00 a.m. Pacific Time on July 24 through 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on July 26. It will be available on PS5, Steam, and the Epic Games Store; no registration is required, and preloads begin two hours before servers open.
The beta includes 15 of the game’s 20 launch characters, online casual and ranked play, local versus and CPU matches, training tools, an open lobby, and the first three chapters of Episode Mode. A PlayStation Plus subscription is not required, but PC players need an internet connection and an Account for PlayStation.
The open beta should provide the first useful evidence of what those Windows requirements actually deliver before the game’s August 6 PC release.
