Windows 7 Media Center Has No Live TV Sound after exit and restart

I constantly have a problem using WMC Live TV. Upon an initial startup the sound is fine however after I exit WMC and attempt a restart I get no sound.
I can restore the Live TV sound only through rebooting the machine.
This sound problem only occurs in Live TV - all other WMC & computer sound functions continue to work.

I'm using Win7 64.
ATI PCI-e Tv Wonder card.
Asus onboard sound VIA High Def Audio.
All Drivers are updated.
I have tried reinstalling WMC.
and control panel sound options have been tested.

Any Ideas?.
