Hi
I just acquired my new Win 7 computer a couple of days ago. After I had installed Office 2003, Windows Update decided that it was necessary to install Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express Edition Service Pack 3 (KB955706) - (not sure whether it was coincidental with the installation of Office 2003 or whether WinUpdate would have said that anyway).
However the installation of this KB955706 failed every time (error code 57A).
I am not entirely persuaded that WinUpdate's classification of this KB955706 as "important" is actually valid. Would it do any harm to hide this "important update" the list of updates and simply ignore it, or should I do something about it?
If the latter, then how would I go about installing it - in view of the repeated error 57A?

(My computer specifications are shown on my profile)

Kind regards
David
