Microsoft has commenced the rollout of an update for the Paint app to Windows Insiders across the Canary and Dev Channels, starting from version 11.2309.20.0 or higher. The latest update brings an exciting addition called Paint Cocreator, a groundbreaking AI-powered feature leveraging DALL-E technology to enhance artwork creation within the Paint app.

Introduction of Paint Cocreator: With the new Paint Cocreator, users can describe what they want to create in a few words, select an art style, and let the AI generate three artwork variations from which they can choose to incorporate into their canvas.
Access and Notifications: Users are encouraged to join the waitlist by signing in with their Microsoft account and clicking on the Cocreator button in the toolbar. Email notifications will inform them when they gain access, along with 50 credits to start creating.
Responsible AI Practices: Microsoft emphasizes responsible AI practices, employing content filtering and safety measures to prevent the creation of inappropriate or harmful images. Continuous optimization will be based on real-world usage and feedback.
Availability: Currently, Paint Cocreator is in preview for English users in regions such as the United States, France, UK, Australia, Canada, Italy, and Germany.
