Hi everyone!
I have an 0x8007007E error while trying to use Microsoft Update on IE8. However, Windows update (the one built in windows) works but it only gives me updates for windows. I run build 7600 rtm.

Many thanks!

    ]Reset Internet Explorer Settings:
    • In Internet Explorer, go to Tools > Internet Options.
    • Go to the Advanced tab.
    • Click on Reset.
    • Follow the prompts to reset the settings.
  2. Install the Latest Version of Internet Explorer:
    • Upgrading to a newer version of Internet Explorer or using a different browser may also resolve the issue. After trying these steps, attempt to access Microsoft Update through Internet Explorer again to see if the issue is resolved. Since you are on Windows 7 Build 7600 RTM, consider upgrading to a more recent version of Windows for better security and stability as Windows 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft as of January 14, 2020. Feel free to give these steps a try, and let me know if you need further assistance or if the issue persists!
