I just installed a new hd and I would like to migrate all my programs on a usb external hd to my new drive. The usb drive is really slow. I know just copying the files won't work. Any software I can use to do this?

Why not just copy all the files from the old E: to G: drive, then change the drive letter of the old E: drive to something else, then the new G: drive to E: ?

Unless of course somehow your Windows installation is on that old E: drive?
