Windows 11 my onedrive is using my documents folder !!!

I Installed my win11 and enabled onedrive when windows was greeting me and now my desktop, documents and pictures is part of onedrive!
how did this happen? I want my onedrive folder independent of all other folders how do I fix this?
no I remember it wasn't like this with win10. maybe if I create an offline account then delete and recreate it, it will be fixed.
has anyone tried this?
it happens in Windows 10 as well (by default) but in 10 you can take control away from Microsoft and disable onedrive or just change its location so your documents don't get corrupted by failed syncs
