Windows 7 My screen shows weird colors, the display is stripy, like in a comic book

So when my sister was using the computer all of the sudden the screen display changed. The program icons seem to be stripy, the screen is darker and somehow green-like on the white parts. To me it kind of reminds of comic book drawings , those spotty/stripy backgrounds. My graphics card is nvidia geforce gt 430

Had that happen to me a couple of years ago. It was my Nvida card was overheating. Take your card out and try it to see if that is the problem.
