When Windows 10 attempts repairs during startup, it indicates that the operating system has detected an issue that needs to be fixed before Windows can continue launching normally. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve this issue: 1. Allow Windows to Attempt Repairs: Let Windows go through its repair process. Sometimes, Windows can automatically fix certain issues during startup repair. 2. Boot into Safe Mode: - Restart your computer and press the F8 or Shift + F8 continuously during boot to reach the Recovery Environment. - Choose Safe Mode or Safe Mode with Networking. - Once in Safe Mode, you can perform system checks, scan for malware, or uninstall recent updates or drivers that may be causing the issue. 4. Use System Restore: If you have a system restore point created before the issue started, you can restore your system to that point. - Boot into the Recovery Environment, navigate to Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > System Restore and follow the prompts. 5. Check Disk for Errors: - In the Recovery Environment, choose Command Prompt. - Type chkdsk /f /r and press Enter to check and repair file system errors on the boot disk. 6. Check Windows Update: Make sure that your system is up to date. In the Recovery Environment, you can uninstall recent updates if necessary. 7. Startup Repair: Run the Startup Repair tool from the Recovery Environment to fix startup problems automatically. If these basic steps do not resolve the issue, you may need to consider more advanced troubleshooting or seek assistance from a professional to diagnose and fix the specific issue causing the repair loop.
