Windows 7 My wireless adaptor does not show up on device manager

Hi,
i have installed windows 7 on my computer and for some reason my network adaptor does not show up on device manager. The green light on the back does not flash either. I have a Lynksys Wireless G PCI card
version 4.1,

please help me out as i am in need of a connection
