I had a problem with snap.do becoming installed on my win 7 machine. Ran uninstall, ccleaner and spybot which removed the problem, however the name snap.do engine still remains in control panel features and programs. I have also done a registry edit and can find no software relating to this program. How do I remove this name from programs listed in control panel.
Solution
use REVO uninstaller for uninstall use advanced mode.

That is quite a serious infection. It takes quite a few steps to completely remove a browser hijacker.
You might wanna try your luck with this one and follow the steps carefully. Good luck!

Revo uninstaller is a great removal utility but it only removes 32 bit software, which most are. In order to remove 64 bit software you'll need to upgrade to the Pro version of Revo uninstaller.
