Navigating to Preferred User's desktop

I am the sole user of my computer and log on as the Preferred User. Whenever I want to open My Documents, My Pictures, etc., I have to first select Desktop, then Preferred User (I am the ONLY user and I have already logged in as the PREFERRED USER), then have to select I My Documents, etc. Is there some way to get to my documents or files without repeating this ritual 20 times a day?I thought that this would be very easy to find via Google... maybe no one else is having the same trouble?
