So many of our users have the ability to change their Windows XP theme to the more aesthetically pleasing "Windows XP" theme, which presents curved lines, shading and a not so drab interface. However, I am able to do the same but not save it.
I just installed Windows7 on my machine as a test box, and prior to joining the domain, I was able to utilize the Aero effects. Once I logged into our network, I was not. I have tried everything from doing the "Experience Rating" to upgrading my video driver. Nothing works. I am convinced at this point that it is a network/group policy setting, but I can't personally figure out which one.
Any ideas?
