I have it set up so I can access my Skydrive files from windows explorer. There are two folders there MobilePhotos and WMPhotos. Which you can see in the screenshot. I mapped them as network drives but when i try to upload a file to them it says "you need permission to perform this action". I can open and delete pics but i cant upload anything to that folder. How can i get around this?

To address the issue where you are unable to upload files to the mapped network drives (MobilePhotos and WMPhotos) on SkyDrive, follow these steps to adjust the permissions: 1. Check Shared Folder Permissions: - Ensure that the shared folders (MobilePhotos and WMPhotos) on SkyDrive have the correct permissions set for the user account you are using to access them. 2. Adjust Folder Permissions: - Right-click on the shared folders (MobilePhotos and WMPhotos) from Windows Explorer. - Select "Properties" and then go to the "Security" tab. - Click on "Edit" to modify the permissions. - Add the appropriate permissions for the user account (read, write, modify) as needed. 3. Check User Account Permissions: - Verify that your...

Check User Account Permissions: - Verify that your user account has the necessary permissions both on the computer where you are trying to upload files from and on the SkyDrive server. 4. Use a Different Account: - If you are unable to modify the permissions with your current account, try logging in with an account that has higher administrative privileges. 5. Re-Mapping Network Drives: - Try to disconnect the existing mapped network drives and then re-map them using the correct credentials to ensure that the right permissions are applied during the mapping process. 6. Restart File Explorer: - Sometimes restarting File Explorer can help in refreshing the permissions. You can do this by restarting the explorer process using the Task Manager. By following these steps and ensuring that the appropriate permissions are set for both the shared folders and your user account, you should be able to resolve the issue of not being able to upload files to the specified folders on SkyDrive.
