Windows 8 New windows 8 user

I've been a Windows 7 user for as long as I can remember and recently I got a windows 8 installation disc and an empty hard drive so I figured what the heck and installed it. I have not used it for more than half an hour and yet already have found things I appreciate over windows 7. Basically id like to know what's different and what I should know. Keep in mind I am not new to Windows just windows 8 in particular.

I would upgrade to 8.1 since 8 isn't supported anymore.
