Though it may seem rather off-topic for this board...and maybe it is, I have a question that still pertains to computing. I want to mount my IBM ThinkCentre on the bottom of my work table, and that will require using some kind of straps to hold it there. The first thing that came to mind was just buying some 1/8" x 1/2" flat metal bars, and bend them into shape, but with the limited tools on hand, I thought it would be easier to just use some kind of non-stretchable, flexible strap instead.

After a little Googling, I found only one thing that might work:

But despite the description, I kind of think that they would still stretch some over time, continously holding a 20 pound computer. Is there such a thing as a flexible, non-stretchable strap that really wouldn't ever stretch under the conditions that I described?

An alternative would be to use a strap that has a buckle, so that it could be tightened as necessary...something like a seat belt. However all that I've found so far are too expensive, so I continue to look.
