I rarely ever talk on forums but I have been stumped. I am new to Windows 7 and I thought maybe it
was allot like Ultimate x64 but I guess I was wrong.

So here is my prob, I have 8800gts and 8600gt. Now I know I don't need to but I want to put all
the Physx on the 8600gt. For so reason Windows 7 wont let me nor let me even enable Physx.

Please help and any feed back is welcome. (even if it's to call me retarded Lawlz!!)

Solution
It sounds like you're having trouble configuring your graphics cards for PhysX on Windows 7. While Windows 7 does support PhysX, you may encounter issues with getting it to work correctly, especially with multiple graphics cards. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and potentially resolve your issue:
  1. Driver Installation:
    • Ensure that both your 8800GTS and 8600GT have the latest drivers installed on your system. NVIDIA provides drivers that are optimized for PhysX support.
    []PhysX Configuration:
    • Open the NVIDIA Control Panel and navigate to "Configure SLI, PhysX, Surround" under "3D settings."
    • In the PhysX settings, you should see an option to select which GPU to use for PhysX...

    • Open the NVIDIA Control Panel and navigate to "Configure SLI, PhysX, Surround" under "3D settings."
    • In the PhysX settings, you should see an option to select which GPU to use for PhysX processing. Make sure to set the 8600GT for PhysX.

    ]PhysX Compatibility:
    • PhysX has certain requirements in terms of compatibility with graphics cards. Make sure that both your GPUs are compatible with PhysX.
    []PhysX Settings in Games:
    • Some games have their own settings for PhysX. Check the in-game settings to ensure that PhysX is enabled and set to use the 8600GT.
    [
    ]Testing:
    • After making these changes, try running a game or application that utilizes PhysX to see if the changes have taken effect. If after trying these steps you still encounter issues, you may want to consider the following:
      • Check for any conflicts between the two graphics cards that might prevent PhysX from working correctly.
      • Reinstall the drivers for both cards to ensure a clean setup.
      • Verify that both graphics cards are properly installed and recognized by Windows.
Remember, configuring multiple GPUs for PhysX can sometimes be tricky due to driver conflicts or compatibility issues. Persistence and troubleshooting are key to resolving such issues. Let me know if you encounter any specific errors or difficulties during the process!
