    PFN_LIST_CORRUPT Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

    hi,
I just installed a clean installation of windows 7 ultimate 64Bit,
because i recently upgraded my RAM to 6GB ;I had to install 64Bit windows.
I bought a different brand RAM (2x2 Kingston) to my old pair (1x2 corsair) ,but everything else is the same, same timings and voltage...

I've installed all of my drivers and programs, and now my computer freezes ,and sometimes i get BSOD with this problem - תמונה0242. תמונה0243.

It never happened to me before.. :/
    please help..
(I don't know anything about BSOD...)

You may want to start with these free hardware diagnostics (in case this is a hardware problem it'll save you some time doing all the stuff that I suggest): Hardware Diagnostics

You have a Edimax 802.11n Wireless USB Adapter. Win7 doesn't like these devices - and when coupled with older (Vista era) drivers it will spit out many BSOD's. Here's my canned rant about these devices:
Daemon Tools (and Alcohol % software) are known to cause BSOD's on some Win7 systems (mostly due to the sptd.sys driver, although I have seen dtsoftbus01.sys blamed on several occasions).
Please un-install the program, then use the following free tool to ensure that the troublesome sptd.sys driver is removed from your system (pick the 32 or 64 bit system depending on your system's configuration): DuplexSecure - FAQ Link broken as of 21 Jul 2012
New link (15 Aug 2012): DuplexSecure - Downloads
    Alternate link: Disc-Tools.com
Manual procedure here: Registry and SPTD problems | DAEMON Pro Help

Please update these older drivers (links included to assist in looking them up). If unable to update them, please remove (un-install) the program for them from your system. DO NOT just delete the driver - it may render your system unbootable.:

    Re: PFN_LIST_CORRUPT Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

    Thank you !

I Removed the the printer drivers, and about the camera - i installed updated drivers, but they are the latest... (maybe i should buy a new one.. :/)

I'm going to install windows 7 Home premium 64BIT today or tomorrow ...
    i have a question -

are the drivers in the gigabyte site updated?
do i need to install the chipset driver and the sata drivers ?

i have a old wireless PCIe card but i'm not the drivers are old too..
is it ok? - ::: EDIMAX Technology :::

and what is the alternative for daemon tools?

Sorry for the delay in responding - either my spam filters are acting up, or I missed the email notifying me of your reply.

There are sometimes problems with updating drivers - so we wait until the next BSOD and we talk about what you did. In this case, others have reported that there weren't updates available for Logitech drivers - so, if yours confirm this, I'll look into them myself (if you get further BSOD's).

The chipset and SATA drivers haven't been implicated in your problem - so I'd leave them alone for now.

I used to recommend alternatives for Daemon Tools - but the server for that program was compromised and it started serving malware. I'd check on the gaming forums for other recommendations - just DON'T use Daemon Tools or Alcohol.

Try the Edimax card - anything (IMO) is preferable to the wireless USB devices.
