Hey,

So this might sound really weird but I'm having this problem that I'm having but I recently installed an USB audio interface on my pc. All programs run well with this new audio interface except for one: Ableton Live 10. I am getting an output from the program(I.E. I'm hearing stuff through my speakers) however inside playback devices it doesn't show and it also doesn't show in the sound mixer. This means I'm unable to record the output of ableton by another program (like OBS).

Playing audio through browser:
Audio.webp

Playing audio through Ableton Live:
Audio off.webp

What's going on? how do I fix it?

My audio interface is the behringer U-Phoria UM2.

thanks

Check Audio Settings in Windows: - Go to Windows Sound settings and verify that the Behringer U-Phoria UM2 is set as the default playback and recording device. - Ensure that the sample rates and bit depths are configured correctly to match the settings in Ableton Live. 4. ASIO Audio Driver: - If possible, use ASIO drivers with Ableton Live for low-latency audio performance. Check if Behringer provides ASIO drivers for your audio interface and configure them in Ableton Live. 5. Restart Audio Services: - Sometimes, restarting audio services can resolve issues with audio playback. Open the Run dialog (Win + R), type "services.msc," and press Enter. Restart the Windows Audio service. 6. Buffer Size Settings: - Adjust the buffer sizes in both Windows sound settings and Ableton Live. Lower buffer sizes can reduce latency but may require more processing power. 7. Check Ableton Live Preferences: - In Ableton Live, ensure that the audio settings match the capabilities of your audio interface, like sample rate, buffer size, and input/output settings. 8. Test Different USB Ports: - Connect your Behringer U-Phoria UM2 to different USB ports on your computer to rule out any port-related issues. If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may want to consider contacting Behringer support or Ableton Live support for additional assistance and troubleshooting tailored to your specific setup.
