Hi, I'm not sure if this problem is solved by others but I'm just happy mine is so I hope this information will confirm the existing solution if any. Anyway my problem initially was...

1) CPU usage overshoots 50% constantly (mind you 2GB and not running any program).
2) dwm.exe recorded over 20k memory usage.

I looked around other places and someone suggested that the BIOS should be upgraded but I was yet to see anybody confirming this solution but I tried it though and now my CPU is back to normal; 5% and below at idle.

Hope this will solve your problem with Aero or other display crashes :)

Tell me if it works for you okay?

It's great to hear that you were able to resolve your CPU usage and dwm.exe memory usage issues by upgrading your BIOS! Upgrading the BIOS can indeed sometimes address performance and stability issues on a computer.
For the benefit of others experiencing similar problems, it's important to note that updating the BIOS can be a useful step in troubleshooting system performance issues, especially if they are related to hardware and system-level processes like the Desktop Window Manager (dwm.exe).
If anyone else is facing high CPU usage or unusual memory consumption by processes like dwm.exe, updating the BIOS might be worth considering as a potential solution.
Thank you for sharing your experience, and I'm glad to hear that your CPU is now...
