I have two monitors which are connected by one dual cable. I have tried to run the extender but Windows 7 is not detecting the second monitor. The colours on the display are not right either now.

One monitor is an Acer X193HQ and the other is a AOC N20WB.

Can anyone help me set up the dual monitor thing and also restore the correct colours please?

I thought you required a cable for each monitor as in XP or Vista.
Eg a Video card with two access points, or two video cards.
Would ask what video cards you are using, or does the motherboard support two video cards.
