Is there a location here where questions about this forum can be asked and answered?

I'm trying to find out...

1. Can messages be ignored / not listed based on something like user name?

2. What are miscellaneous credits?

Thanks

Solution
You probably know there is, in your CP, an item "Edit ignore list". You can name the particular person there. But I have used it, and it was not what I really wanted. It still shows that user as having posted, you just cannot see the text. What I wanted (it was related to the youtube posts, which have now, thankfully, been confined to the WaterCooler) was to entirely eliminate those posts from my view. You are , maybe, looking for the same thing?

For example, I do like to pop in to forums, on other sites, such as the watercooler. Unfortunately, on this site, the more interesting posts are quickly buried.
Hi TBlount,
I guess here is as good a place as any to ask...

Regarding your first question, do you mean private messages?
As far as I'm aware no they can't.. If you mean like can you block someone's messages being recieved then I don't think you can.
On the second question can you give me an example?
Thanks

1. Click on Windows 7 forums in the left side of the screen and you'll see all the categories here. According to you problem, pick the correct forum to post in. If it's pornographic It will be deleted

2. I don't know about miscellany point, but you get perpetuation points if you solve a problem and the original poster clicks the heart button located in the thread.

No... here is an example. Should I want to ignore ...say for example... 1,000 posts in a section by a user, can I list that users name in some kind of IGNORE list so their post will disappear and cut out the clutter? I'm looking for filter settings.

On the second question can you give me an example?
Thanks

I was clicked on "community" above the messages here... and "experience points"
Link Removed due to 404 Error

And saw I had 300 miscellaneous points. I wondered where those came from.

I couldn't find any forum about this forum and the software running it... the only thing about forum was an announcement section... I don't think that is a place to ask questions because only moderators can post there and announcements aren't a category to ask questions.

haha... what high powered perception you have!

Yes.. it would be nice to have an "ignore" feature that totally annihilate the stuff that is personally annoying.

To be honest I'm unsure where those points come from or who allocates them.. I'll endevour to find out and let you know..
