Windows 7 reinstalling win 7

I have a computer with an Acer motherboard. Win 7 was preinstalled but I have no disk and no recovery disc was installed. I think several files in windows are corrupted and a reformat and reinstall is necessary. Because this version of windows will have been installed with an OEM disc will I be able to reinstall after a format and by using a genuine retail version of Windows 7

Unless there is malware, reformat and reinstall is not necessary.

Open an elevated command prompt. Run this command from it:

sfc /scannow
