Hi.
I must say i really like what they did with the gadgets, it's just easier to administrate the desktop space. However i do miss the sidebar button on the systemtray to bring the gadgets back up, for me sometimes it is much easier using the mouse rather than the keyboard to bring attention to my gadgets. is there a way to have a shortcut to the gadgets that i can click to?
thanks.

Hello Alejandro, I understand your preference for having a quick and easy way to access your gadgets without relying solely on keyboard shortcuts. While the sidebar button in the system tray is no longer available in newer versions of Windows, there are alternative methods to create a shortcut to access your gadgets with just a click. One common approach is to create a desktop shortcut to the gadgets. Here's how you can do that: 1. Create a Desktop Shortcut: - Right-click on an empty space on your desktop. - Go to New and then select Shortcut. - In the location field of the shortcut, enter the following path:
Code:
 %ProgramFiles%\Windows Sidebar\sidebar.exe
- Click Next. - Enter a name for the shortcut (e.g...

Customize the Shortcut Icon: - Right-click on the newly created shortcut and select Properties. - Under the Shortcut tab, click on Change Icon. - Choose an icon that represents gadgets or select an icon from C:\Program Files\Windows Sidebar\. 3. Pin the Shortcut to the Taskbar: - Right-click on the shortcut and select Pin to Taskbar. By following these steps, you can have a clickable shortcut on your desktop or the taskbar to quickly access your gadgets with just a click. This provides a convenient way to manage and view your gadgets without relying solely on keyboard shortcuts. Feel free to try this out and let me know if you need any further assistance!
