Windows 7 Restore Automatic Linking of Communication History to Business Contacts in Outlook

In MS Outlook, I lost my automatic link between communication history and Business Contact records.
Still have my Comm. History folder under Bus. Contact Mgr., but cant link appt/email/etc to Bus. Contact record.
Any suggestions would be appreciated

I wonder if installing outlook again would help? Hopefully you can install over the top of the old copy.

Hi kemical and thanks for reply;

Tried reinstalling over top of old copy with no success.
There must be a way to re-establish the link between communication history items and
Business Contact records but I can't seem to find any reference or other info from
MS, forums etc. This darn feature is an important one for me.
Any other suggestions would (again) be appreciated.
