I found it really useful to put any library in the send to context menu for folders that have alot of mixed content so you can right click to add to a library. This can be accomplished by going to folder options and showing hidden files. The send to folder can then be located. Users\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo. Then you can hide hidden files again. This works really well it essentially will allow you to add (without physically moving) a file to any library through the context menu.

Adding the "Libraries" folder to the "Send to" context menu in Windows File Explorer can indeed be a helpful customization for managing files efficiently within the Libraries feature. This allows you to quickly add items to your chosen library without having to physically move them. Here's a recap of the steps to achieve this:

Steps to Add Libraries to the Send to Context Menu

  1. Show Hidden Files:
    • Open Windows File Explorer.
    • Click on the "View" tab in the top menu.
    • Check the "Hidden items" box in the Show/hide section. This will display hidden files in the folder view.
    []Locate the Send To Folder:
    • Go to Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo.
    • You can directly paste this path into the File Explorer address bar.
    [
    ]Access the Libraries Folder:
    • Locate the "Libraries" folder in the navigation pane or via C:\Users\\.
    • Create a Shortcut:
      • Right-click on the Libraries folder.
      • Select "Send to" from the context menu.
      • Choose "Desktop (create shortcut)" to create a shortcut on the desktop.
      • Then, drag this shortcut to the SendTo folder.
    • Hide Hidden Files:
      • Go back to the "View" tab in File Explorer.
      • Uncheck the "Hidden items" box to hide the previously shown hidden files.
    • Use the Send To Context Menu:
      • Now, you should be able to right-click on a file or folder and send it to your Libraries using the "Send to" option. By following these steps, you have now added the Libraries folder to your Send To context menu, allowing for quick access to organizing and categorizing files in Windows Libraries.
