I installed my copy of win 8.1 pro. Everything seemed to work as it should. But after I upgraded to win10, I got a special problem with the wired connection to the network! Have never experienced anything like this before! As long as I surfed the web it went well, but when I would watch svt play, youtube or nrk news, then the network automatically disconnected after a few seconds! and must run repair of the mains connection each time. What is the cause of the problem? and what can I do to fix the problem?

I upgraded the driver to the network card, but did not help me. Why multimedia breaks my network connection is weird! have never experienced anything like this before!

Is there anything out here that has had the same problem? and have a solution? Thank you in advance.

The issue you're facing with your network connection dropping when streaming multimedia content could be due to various factors. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problem:

Troubleshooting Steps:

  3. Check Network Cables and Connections:
    • Ensure that the Ethernet cable is securely connected to both the computer and the router.
  4. Test with a Different Browser:
    • Sometimes, browser-specific issues can cause network problems. Try using a different web browser when streaming multimedia content.
  5. Run Network Troubleshooter:
    • Use the built-in network troubleshooter in Windows to diagnose and address connectivity issues. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Internet Connections.
  6. Reset TCP/IP Stack:
    • Open Command Prompt as an administrator and run the following commands:
      Code:
netsh int ip reset netsh winsock reset ipconfig /flushdns
  7. Check Firewall and Security Software:
    • Temporarily disable any third-party firewall or security software to check if they are blocking network traffic.
  8. Update Windows 10:
    • Make sure that Windows 10 is up to date with the latest updates and patches.
  9. Check Router Settings:
    • Sometimes, router settings such as QoS (Quality of Service) or firmware issues can impact streaming. Check router settings for any bandwidth or prioritization settings.
  10. Monitor Network Activity:
    • Use built-in Windows tools or third-party software to monitor network activity and check for patterns when the network drops.
  11. Perform a Clean Boot:
    • Perform a clean boot to check if any third-party software is causing the issue. This can help identify if a background process is impacting network connectivity. By following these steps and isolating the potential causes of the issue, you should be able to determine the root cause and resolve the network dropping problem when streaming multimedia content.
