Seven solutions for Windows 7 problems

Disappearing windows Q At seemingly random intervals, all my open windows disappear leaving a view of the empty desktop. I can see outlines of the windows but they are all transparent. Only a quick shake of the mouse brings them back into view. Can you explain this?
