Windows 7 Shut down issues

I have a Windows 7 desktop that will not shut down. Have to do a hard shut down every time.

Did this just start happening recently? I had something similar happen to an XP box a while ago. Have you changed or added anything? Modified any settings? Etc?

If you have a WIN7 DVD try the repair function by booting from the DVD.
