Hey there.

I was just wondering. I have 6 speakers all connected up to a receiver and then aux with my computer. All works, sounds great. That is irrelevant though. How come it sounds so much better when I play things of my web browser (Such as youtube, grooveshark) than when I play it off my winamp or other programs (winamp even has DFX plug in) Please help, I would really like to know.

Thanks

It may have something to with the software rendering of the codecs. I'm not sure though.

What about Windows Media Player? The audio player I use most of the time is AIMP2 and it sounds better than any other I've tried.

Oh I have given up on windows media player 12. HORRIBLE APPLICATION. Just grabs all my music from every direction, I have tried everything to change it. I will try Aimp2. Thanks.

Yeah, it's free and is a KICKA$$ audio player with lots of configurations and plays virtually all audio media that's out there.

Glad you like it! ;)
