Windows 10 Slow internet using ethernet windows 10

Hi guys,
just wandering if there was a way to increase my download speed as usually it is 15mbps but at the moment it is only 2mbps. I have tried changing the dns server and registry editor but still no improvement,

Do you have multiple devices to test from perhaps a phone and are they getting the same slow speed? If they are I would try bouncing your router and modem.

My phone and mac both give around 15mbps. I thought that it may be due to certain settings?

Do you play around with hyper-v at all by chance?

If you don't know what it is I wouldn't worry about it. I would start by verifying your network driver is up-to-date.

It is up to date. I have a realtek network driver

Try booting into safe mode w/networking and test. I would also try disabling security software temporarily and testing.

Check if the Ethernet connection works faster. If yes, then you may have to try re installing the network driver.
