I am using Windows 7 Pro and have begun experimenting with speech recognition. My primary interest is in using the commands, but I can't seem to get to first base after trying three different mics to get it to respond to my voice.
I followed the setup instructions step by step for configuring the mic, volume levels, voice training, etc. I set the speech recognition to begin at Start Up and restarted, but it did not recognize my voice.
As I understand it, there is to be some sort of control that appears as a monitor for voice and I see no such item.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
