I am a disabled person I have been trying to get Spiffy Gmail Notifier Download Spiffy - MajorGeeks work it will not download new mail can aomeone please try it and see if it works please
Solution
You could try the Gmail Notifier Pro. It is free for up to 2 accounts.
Download the zip version which does not need installation (you just have to unzip the files in a folder and start the program).
Here is the link to the developer's site: Gmail Notifier Pro - Email notifications for Windows 10
You will probably have to install also the .Net Framework 3.5 (there is a link to it on the download page).
Hope this helps.

After doing a Google search for the Spiffy program, I would not recommend to use it. I couldn't find the developer's site and it is only advertised on weird sites. Nowadays it is very dangerous to use programs downloaded from unknown sites. Especially this kind of programs where you have to input your credentials for your Google account(s).
I would try to use one of these Gmail notifiers:
1. Notifier for Gmailâ„¢
2. Microsoft Edge Addons
