Windows 7 Star Wars KOTOR - not working

I've installed the game with no problems it seems, but when I run it, It goes to the launcher, I click on game, and it goes to loading, and disappears, nothing happens. I've already tried the Vista fix which should supposedly fix the w7 problems as well, I was told, but still the same problem.
