Coming from XP, I've been really enjoying a lot of Windows 7 new features. One of which is the program Sticky Notes.

However, I've got a strange problem, whenever the program gets minimized, it will never un-minimize. Each attempt to click on the icon results in an error/alert sound and nothing more.

I may attempt click on the icon and "+New Note" while this will un-minimize the notes I have, the program will rapidly flicker between the new note making it impossible to type, move, or handle any of the notes on screen. It is also impossible to close the stick note program at this point without the use of Task Manager.

I've looked online for some time, but have never seen anyone else with this problem.

  2. Reinstall Sticky Notes:
    • If none of the above steps work, consider uninstalling and then reinstalling Sticky Notes to see if that resolves the issue.

      Additional Tips:

      • Backup Notes: Before attempting any major changes or reinstallations, make sure to backup any important notes you have in Sticky Notes.
      • User Account Control (UAC): Ensure that UAC settings are not interfering with the normal operation of Sticky Notes.
