First post here. A few months I overclocked (a friend did) my computer. I7 sandy bridge from 3,4Ghz to 4,3 ghz.
windows 7.
After that I got the 0x00000124 blue screens. After a search it was the voltage that was too low. I fixed that.

Now the last weeks I got a new blue screen: STOP: 0x00000116 nvlddkm.sys

I restored my bios to optimized default settings. So I think the overclock is gone?

My driver of my nvidea GT220 is up to date and also from my intel graphics

The last few times it got the blue screen when burning a dvd disc. (like today with nero burning)

How can I now for sure this error is fixed?

Hi,
We really need to read the dump files created when a machine bsod's. These are stored in the minidump folder. This is found in the main windows folder. If you cannot find the minidump folder then your system isn't probably set up to create dump files. To make sure that these are created then change your settings are like this:

Go to Start and type in sysdm.cpl and press Enter
Click on the Advanced tab
Click on the Startup and Recovery Settings button
Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked
Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box
Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump << where your .dmp files can be
found later.
Click and apply to exit the dialogs, then reboot for the changes to take effect.

Once you have some dump files then read this thread on how to post:

Hi,
your bsod was caused by the GPU driver not resetting within a certain time. There are many probably causes for this bugcheck including overclocking the card itself, heat and other drivers/software to name just a few.
Nvidia even released a statement about it here:
ref:
https://forums.geforce.com/default/...-tdr-errors-display-driver-nvlddmkm-stopped-/

BiosVersion = F12
BiosReleaseDate = 10/12/2011
SystemManufacturer = Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
SystemProductName = Z68MX-UD2H-B3
You have Bios updates although this can depend on your motherboard version or revision. This is written on the actual motherboard itself and is crucial information when obtaining the correct Bios. You'll notice that this download page has links for both revisions of your moBo:
http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3974#bios

Checking through your driver stack I notice you have some pretty old versions running which may or may not have some bearing on the gpu driver crashing:

aswHwid.sys Thu Jun 26 12:31:26 2014: Avast AV known on occasion to cause the odd issue. If the BSOD persists consider removing this as a test and use MSE in it's place as it's ultra stable:

The above is most likely in the form of a search bar on the browser or similar. To remove unwanted Adaware/Spyware run the app below.
Download and run Malwarebytes:
https://www.malwarebytes.org/

I couldn't find the Nero driver specifically although it could be this:

Post any new dump files.

hello there,
http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3974#bios -> F12 I have now, I downloaded F13 and this is not working on a 64bit system.
aksdf.sys -> didn't know what to choose on their site
deleted avast virusscanner -> OK
Please run the Intel Update utility: -> OK
Logitech Camera driver please update if possible: -> Ok I think
NVidia System Utility Driver possibly Ntune? I'm not sure this is compatible with windows 7 please remove to test. -> didn't understand this
Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet please update: -> OK
Download and run Malwarebytes: -> I already had malware and did scan. i removed everything it had found
couldn't find the Link Removed driver specifically although it could be this: -> didn't find it but searching this I found a free program
called SLIM DRIVERS. After installing that It told me which drivers had to be updated -> now program says all my drivers are up to date

update this: I just burnt a dual layer dvd disc with imgburn -> ok with the first one but when burning a second one the blue screen was back...
So nero couldn't be the problem. also avast couldn't be to. (is removed)

But my grapic card GT220 fom nvidea is underclocked at this moment. This was already before I started this thread.
Hope this info helps you.

Could my graphic card be defected?

Hi,
I checked the dump file you sent and see that it is dated today but non of the changes I recommended above have been completed. Also it sounds like you've used an application to find your drivers? This is a big no no.... Plus it's actually incorrect as your drivers are not in fact up to date as my post above clearly shows.

It sounds like you might have tried to install your Bios update incorrectly. Please read this support page which shows several methods:
http://www.gigabyte.com/webpage/20/HowToReflashBIOS.html
Don't forget to make sure you know which motherboard version you have. As mentioned it's always written on the actual motherboard.

aksdf.sys Wed Dec 13 17:09:32 2006: Data Filter Driver by Aladdin Knowledge Systems please update:

If you still use the above application then please try and update it otherwise please remove it. If your unsure what it is check your add and remove program list to see if anything looks familiar.

If you post the make/model of your camera I'll try and find the driver for it.

nvoclk64.sys Tue Sep 15 22:59:25 2009: NVidia System Utility Driver possibly Ntune? I'm not sure this is compatible with windows 7 please remove to test.

The above belongs to an Nvidia utility for monitoring the pc again check your add and remove programs for something called Ntune. It's a very old app back from when everyone used AGP graphic cards and the like.

Rt64win7.sys Wed Jun 01 04:15:51 2011: Realtek RTL8168D/8111D Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet please update:

The above is your network driver and needs updating.

Looks like you still have that Adaware installed too..

Please check your GPU by running these two tests:
This will test stability:

Run the burn-in test.
This will test the Vram:

Why is your gpu underclocked?
