Windows 7 system hangs 20-30 minutes after start Where to start fixing?

some time after starting windows computer HDD will start to spin all the time (or at leasts that's what HDD LED says). This makes the system respond very slow or halt making it virtually useless - it can persist for quite a long time until the system crashes with blue screen or I reset it. Sometimes shout down will also work but it takes very long time to shoutdown in such case.

The problem does not seam to be related to any particular program.
CPU and memory loads seam reasonable (ca 30-50% for CPU and 60-70% fro RAM which are my typical loads)

Where and what for should I look for (LOGs, BSOD photos)??

KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR (7a)
The requested page of kernel data could not be read in. Typically caused by
a bad block in the paging file or disk controller error. Also see
KERNEL_STACK_INPAGE_ERROR.
If the error status is 0xC000000E, 0xC000009C, 0xC000009D or 0xC0000185,
it means the disk subsystem has experienced a failure.
If the error status is 0xC000009A, then it means the request failed because
a filesystem failed to make forward progress.
Arguments:
Arg1: fffff6fc40033fc8, lock type that was held (value 1,2,3, or PTE address)
Arg2: ffffffffc0000185, error status (normally i/o status code)
Arg3: 0000000076322be0, current process (virtual address for lock type 3, or PTE)
Arg4: fffff880067f9000, virtual address that could not be in-paged (or PTE contents if arg1 is a PTE address)
