I am using a Toshiba NB305-410BL Netbook with Windows 7 Starter Edition. I am new to Windows 7.
In the System Properties>System Protection tab screen of Windows 7, there is a section called, “Protection Settings.” When I first went to that screen, there are two items listed there: “C: drive” and “System.” The C: drive is checked as “On" and “System” is not checked and is therefore “Off.”
1) If I check “System” to "On" what does that do?
2) Under what conditions, would I check “System” to be "On?"
3) If I want to create Restore points, do I also need to check “System” to be "On?"
4) Where do I indicate where Restore Points are stored?
If you can answer any or all of these questions I appreciate it.
Thanks.
Richard
