When I leave a browser tab open and not used for a while It freezes so that moving my cursor over anything and clicking does not cause an action. To temporarily fix this, I only need to switch to another tab and then right back to where I was. The original tab will be functional and it will have brought up wherever I clicked on while it was frozen. How do I fix this?

I am having the exact same issue as docweathers
Tabs left open in Brave freeze up if not used for a while. The only way to make them responsive again is to click onto another tab, then back,
which resets the tab and it works normally again. It may be happening in Chrome and Edge also, but I don't use these browsers very often.
Hope someone out there has a fix for this.

You can always try disabling Flash extensions to stop Tabs from freezing in chrome browsers.
1. Type “about:plugins” in chrome address bar.
2. Look for "Flash" and left click to select disable.
3. Restart your Google chrome to see if it still freezes.

If the steps were helpful, uninstall the Flash program and reinstall it.
